Chrome Hotel & Resort Solo

RECOMMENDED!! I will definitely come back to this hotel (no, it is more like a villa) one day. It is cheap (only idr 500k) but they have PRIVATE POOL with great service. The location is quite far from city, but still have many option of restaurant nearby the hotel. Any improvement they should consider are the cleanliness (especially the bathroom and the pool side) and they should provide more light in the room to make it brighter.

Good service and fast respond. Good experience to have a private pool when stay in this place, a little bit need to increase for pool cleaning. Room price is competitive compared with the competitors. Room price include breakfast, but limited options. One of the good place to stay when come to Solo area.

Superb... This place is not too far from town center, but have very calm atmosphere due to surrounded by rice field. That, and with addition of ethnic theme on interior and exterior design, fit perfectly with it's name.. However, this place isn't my style actually, since I prefer modern looks for a place to stay. I mean, look at the door to the room, still using padlock, not card lock system. It's appropriate with it's traditional and ethic theme I think, so it depends on your preference actually .. Plus side: each room has personal swimming pool, small pantry, fridge, small terrace, and the toilet is an Intelligent Toilet (how come a toilet could be so Intelligent? Just see your self ), good atmosphere for honeymoon, ethic theme (really depends on how much you love the theme) Minus side: no restaurant, but breakfast delivered to our room (Indonesian food only, and we cannot choose menu it is a minus for me), no remote control for Air Conditioning (there's a switch provided at the make up table, near the door) so we cannot adjust temperature while in bed, not a budget hotel, ethic theme (depends on your preference)

We stayed this place for 2 nights. The concept of this hotel/villa is unique, with affordable price you can het a room with a private pool inside, even the private pool is only around 1.2 meter deep. The room need more maintenance I guess, especially in the corners. Note : 1. don't forget to bring extension cables if you plan to stay here, because there's not much power socket. 2. You need to park your car outside the hotel, but it's safe.

Great for ones who want to seek the serene and peaceful surrounding without completely living off the grid. The hotel is located in the outskirt of Solo but still close to main road. The room has small swimming pool, fit for kids to swim. But the downside when I stayed there was I found some rats squeaking from my room, maybe bcoz it's close to rice field. However I had pleasant stay there.

Overall a nice stay experience, comfort bed, affordable and good location. It would be nicer if the cleanliness and the garden get more attention to maintain, keeping up the private villa concept. I saw they are doing upgrading and renovation to some of the villas, hopefully getting better on my next stay. Notes: bring your own bath amenities and also food or drinks to put on the big refrigerator. They don't have any telephone on the each villa, so expect to back & forth to the lobby if you need any assistance. Room also not soundproofed, you can easily hear anyone near your room having conversation in the room, pool or even the shower room.
